I’m not the girl that wears make-up, goes for the latest style or obsesses about shoes and bags. When I think back I might have been a bit of a tomboy when I was young. I really didn’t like to have to make time for fixing up, and choosing clothes.
I went through my whole 20’s using regular soap for my face not thinking about toning or moisturizing. At most I would take leisurely baths and lather myself with lotion. My only “beauty routine” was getting my hair straightened because unfortunately I was born with very curly hair.
After my trips to Facial Care Centre and Clara International and hearing their recommendations for my aging skin I decided to try a daily beauty routine.
I had no idea where to start but my daughter, Kianna who’s only 12 years old knew more than I did. I wasn’t sure what brand to try but the sales lady recommended Celeteque so I went with that. The attendant at Clara International mentioned that I needed to start using moisturizer especially since the weather has been very cold which was contributing to my dry skin. I’ve been applying it once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
However, Kianna suggested I also use a facial wash. Another thing to think about! On our next trip to the mall I looked at possible facial wash products. Since I’d been using Celeteque I decided to go with their Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads.
So far, I’ve had a pleasant experience. No outbreaks or irritations. It turns out it’s not so hard to have a daily beauty routine. Just several minutes in the morning and at night and I’m all set.
I’ve also been using Celeteque’s Brightening Radiance Body Cream focusing on my elbows and knees.
Recently, I received another Celeteque product, Soothing Lip Balm from Unilab with SPF 15. I’m excited to start using this.
Kianna has been talking about toner but that’s where I draw the line. Too many products and applications and I’ll quickly lose interest. However, I did receive an Anti Wrinkle Ultra Hydrating Cleansing Oil from Sample Room so I’ll give that a whirl and see how it goes. I’m in my mid thirties so the “anti-aging” kind of drew me in.
For now, I’m pretty much a Celeteque girl and have found their products to be perfect for my skin.
I’d love to hear about your beauty routines and recommendations. This is a totally new landscape so I’m very open to ideas just nothing too overwhelming!

I have been using the Mary Kay Products for over 5 years. I had a gentle cleanser, and a moisturizer. I applied 2xs/daily (Am/Pm). I really liked how it kept my face looking fresh n not dry n peely. The unfortuneate thing now is- the products have changed and they do not carry the gentle cleanser/moisturizers I so loved n bought. The new products I can’t buy as they have ingredients I am allergic to 🙁 so I will def see if I can find the Celeteque in stores!
Gie & I are proud Celeteque users.., 🙂 very gentle to our skin! 🙂
