My Facial Care Center Experience Courtesy of Glam-O-Mamas

I finally got around to using my Facial Care Center gift card. I had scheduled a day full of errands as that’s how work at home moms usually function. When you find yourself going out on certain days you try and cram everything you can into that day and area. Upon entering Facial Care Center there was a warm welcome from reception. I presented my gift card and explained the circumstances of how I received it, by winning a contest through Glam-O-Mamas. The pretty and friendly doctor then led me to the consultation room and discussed the available treatments...

Traditional Bibingka

I had my first try of Bibingka in Sasmuan, Pampanga. My husband hails from this province and if you’ve read my posts you can probably tell that he does the cooking. I’ve been wanting to try it for years. I didn’t try the ones at the mall because I wanted the traditional Bibingka cooked on those pots and piping hot when served. We have been making quite a few trips to Pampanga for family reunions with my husband’s sister and her family who arrived from the States. My daughter, Kianna, has tried this dessert and I asked her to...

The Life of a Flight Attendant: Review of Confessions of a Hostie

Once upon a time I wanted to be a flight attendant. I had the height for it, some would say the look and I had enough adventure in me to want to try it. I have been trying to blog consistently but I wasn’t very successful until I came across the Ultimate Blog Challenge. The UBC is held every quarter- January, April, July and October. When I joined the blog challenge I knew it would be tough. I had only been able to put up about 1 post a week and at my busiest about 2 posts a month so writing everyday seemed daunting. I love a challenge so I prepped for it by taking advice from Michele Scism and Michelle Shaeffer, hosts of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. They offered ways to come up...

Natural Mosquito Repellent: Anti Mosquito Sticks from Mommy Patch

I discovered these mosquito repellent sticks on Facebook while I was browsing for online sellers. I came across Suburbananay who is a reseller of Mommy Patch products in my area. My youngest has sensitive skin and once bitten by a mosquito will have a big inflamed bump that will sometimes turn into a wound when he scratches it. When we brought him to the doctor she told us that he had a mild form of skin asthma. I’m alarmed when he has a bite and I quickly try to put an anti-bacterial ointment to halt the inflammation. I was pleased...
