My son, Sebastian won 4 tickets to the Nickelodeon Takotown Halloween event! He went online to join the contest for his little brother, Jael. The contest called for him to recount the scariest place he’s been. He named our old home where he once had an incident, that to this day even I’m freaked out about.
It was a normal afternoon and my son Sebastian and his sister, Kianna were playing. They were about 2 1/2 and 6 months old respectively. We were all in the living room and while I was watching TV I noticed my son was standing at the foot of the stairs just looking up. He stayed there for awhile and I didn’t think anything of it until he started to look at me and urgently point up the stairs. It was only the 3 of us at home with my husband at work. No maids or yayas. He suddenly started to cry while still pointing up the stairs.
Well, I totally freaked out but kept calm. I decided to go upstairs to check because in my mind a ghost was secondary to an intruder in the house. We lived in a 2 story townhouse that had a balcony and a back terrace.
After having cleared the area, I went back to my children and I called my husband whom I told to go home right away. Unfortunately, he had about 2 to 3 hours to go so the children and I waited until he got home. I tried to distract the children especially Sebastian. To this day, I don’t know what he saw.
He has always been weary of that house especially since we told him about what happened. Despite the frightening experience, we’re still glad we won the tickets for Jael. We hope to see you there!
