With so many book titles out there sometimes it can be a little daunting to try and find your next read. If you’ve gone through the books suggested by friends and family try these webs sites that can give youÂ
book suggestions based on books you like.
The great thing about these sites is they can give you recommendations based on the type of book you feel like reading at the moment. I’d rather visit sites where I didn’t have to register to use their features and here are 4 such sites to help you on your next book trip.
What Should I Read Next
What Should I Read Next is basic and simple. All you have to do is enter the title or author of a book you like then it will give you a list of books exactly or similar to the title you have entered. This is helpful if you don’t know the full title of a book or name of an author.
Once you’ve chosen your title you’ll get a whole list of related book suggestions. If you want to save your favorite book titles and create your own list you can join their website. The suggested books are from lists of other people who have joined the site.
Whichbook
With Whichbook you can get book suggestions based on the themes of a book you feel like reading. They have a rater which has a gauge you can set to get suggestions.
You can choose from happy to disturbing to short or long and it’ll give you suggestions based on your choices. This is one to use if you don’t have any particular author in mind but rather a theme.
YourNextRead.Com
YourNextRead.Com is similar to What Should I Read Next. You enter a title or author in the search box and then choose the book you have entered or one similar to your choice.
You then get book suggestions from your choice. Click on a book you’re interested and you get reviews you can browse. You can connect to Goodreads from here once you have registered. It gives you the ability to share your booksheves from YourNextRead.Com to Goodreads and vice versa.
TasteKid
Aside from book suggestions TasteKid also gives suggestions for movies, music and even games. Just enter a title or author and you’re given a list of books to browse through.
If you click on a book suggestion you get an overview and plot synopsis.
