My two children were addicted to the first movie watching it for hours and hours. Each time they watched it it seemed like they were watching it for the first time. I have to admit the story and the quirky characters make it an enjoyable watch even for adults.
It was the first of its kind bringing a different feel to the big screen (at least in those days). The lively colors, action, and comedy were an excellent blend. Dory was a hilarious character cracking even me up! Hopefully Ellen DeGeneres returns for the possible sequel.
So far the buzz is that the original director, Andrew Stanton may be filming the sequel. The script is still in the works but we can expect more adventure and more fun!
Finding Nemo is still a recommended watch today having lost none of it’s shine. Second to Toy Story 3 and winning an Oscar for Best Animated Picture it’s one of Pixar’s best films. It will be having a 3D release in September.
Just keep swimming…just keep swimming…

Update: The sequel to Finding Nemo will be titled Finding Dory.
Here’s a trailer clip of Ellen telling us the good news.
