Pancakes are a family favorite and children love to have it for breakfast or brunch. Quick and easy pancakes are a great solution for breakfast but did you know they can also be a dessert?
A close friend introduced us to this pancake concoction and here’s our first attempt at making it. She had ordered it in a restaurant and it was served with a scoop of ice cream on top.
After having some at her place we decided to try making our own. As you can see some pancake Oreos were a little overcooked but they tasted just as good.
What you’ll need:
- Pancake batter
- Oreos
- Stove top grill or teflon pan
How to make it:
- Mix your pancake batter to a semi-thick consistency. Be careful to not add too much water as it will make your mixture too watery and you’ll have a difficult time coating your Oreos thoroughly.
- Once your grill or pan is hot, dip the Oreo in your batter and make sure that it’s coated on both sides. Put it in your pan. Similar to pancakes once you see the batter start to bubble turn your pancake over with a spatula.
- Once turned flatten the pancake using a spatula to keep the Oreo in place.
Voila! You’re done and ready to serve your quick and easy pancake dessert.
