Since I married young and not well at that, I’ve always lived a life within a budget especially when it comes to myself. It was only when I became a single mom that I really started spending for myself. This was with encouragement from my kids because even they could see how I wouldn’t shell out money for me. Being single after 17 years of marriage I rediscovered myself, my likes, tastes and yes shopping was a big part of that! I used to say I didn’t like to shop but I do. I really do! I still have to keep myself in check though because I am after all a single mom of 3.
I had been hearing about Taytay Tiangge and had been wanting to visit but it was only recently that I finally got to see what everyone was talking about. For Php1170 I was able to buy several quality items.
It was another Cinderella/ Pretty Woman moment for me because instead of disapproving looks I was actually told that everything would fit. Gone are the days when I would look at a piece of clothing and either get the “Really, you think that will fit you?” look or the “You’re too big.” smirk.
So… if you haven’t been to Taytay Tiangge yet I’m showing you a few of the pieces I got myself. Taytay Tiangge is a huuuuuge area of bargains and deals. Mostly the clothes are for women and kids. There were a few sections just for men but mostly you’ll just see scattered areas of tops and shorts for guys.
These pants only cost me Php120! It was a free size that luckily I fit into. It’s soft and slightly stretchable.
The black dress was only Php120 only but just a tad bit loose.
Php100 floral dress guys! The denim jacket is pre-loved but at only Php100. You guys probably see me in this jacket often.
Both leggings are only Php70. Perfect for my work outs. Thick and soft.
I can’t give directions to this place because we had a ride but you can easily take a riding app to get there. The ideal time to go to Taytay Tiangge is in the afternoon until night time. Mondays and Thursdays are when the new stocks come in.

Never been to Taytay tiangge (although it’s just a ride away from my place in Pasig). Looks like a great place to score pretty clothes at bargain prices. Makapunta nga minsan. 🙂

Ever since I saw your post about the denim jacket and the floral top, I have wanted to visit this place! But, alas, too far from where I live in Bulacan, though. But I am not giving up. Hopefully, I can go before the year is over. I’d love to have my hands on those leggings and dresses, and I also read somewhere that they have very affordable pajama sets, too!

Great finds! I think we all have to learn to spend for ourselves talaga…I haven’t really spent money on myself haha if we don’t count the courses/tools that I spent for to build my business. Pero I’d love to get myself a dress and some leggings – especially the latter kasi I need to go back exercising! Haha!

Taytay Tiangge wholesale days are Mondays and Thursdays (starts in the morning until wee hours the following day). From Robinson’s Galeria you can take Gliner it passes Taytay Market but could take longer travel time compared to taking a cab or transfering rides.
