My lunch at Teriyaki Boy was a much welcome break from a day of sadness. Without going into it much, I was mentally and emotionally drained and Bastian and I had lunch at their SM Megamall branch.

Teriyaki Boy offers a wide variety of value-friendly Japanese food. Joining the likes of Max’s Restaurant, Pancake House, Krispy Kreme, Sizzlin Steak and Yellow CabΒ under Max’s Group Inc., it’s sure to prosper and have even more restaurants around the Philippines.

Their best sellers include Teriyaki Boy Chicken,Β Tuna Teriyaki, and Beef Strips Teriyaki.

Complimentary Chips

Katsu Ju (Php345)

Breaded US pork cutlets, deep-fried and simmered in sweet soy sauce, onions and leeks, with beaten egg on a bed of steamed Japanese rice.

Tuna Teriyaki (Php270)

Moist and tender grilled tuna with a sweet salty tasteΒ of Teriyaki sauce topped with onion leeks.

Japanese Cheesecake (Php115)

Bastian ordered the Japanese Cheesecake and found it a bit dry but with enough sweetness.

Mango Tempura with Vanilla Ice CreamΒ (Php175)

This dessert is quite unique and though I’m not the adventurous type I decided to give this a go. The sweetness of the mango and ice cream blended with the saltiness of the tempura.
