More and more wellness has been a welcome invasion in my life. Getting healthy has been a goal lately and Robinsons Supermarket has been instrumental in achieving it. How do you ask? For now I’ve focused on body wellness by eating better and more healthy from their selection of veggies, meat and fish. I’m taking my time with it and so far I’ve been able to lose weight. I’ve lost the aches and pains, learn to eat moderately and choose healthier food when I can.
The exercise aspect needs a little more work. I haven’t been able to get myself to the gym but small things like walking when I can or just getting out of the house when there’s a chance is a start. That’s why a yoga and massage session in Tagaytay with blogger friends and Robinsons Supermarket sounded perfect. Our visit was in sync with the next run of their Wellness Festival Caravan, Freshtival at Robinsons Summit Ridge. Expect another run at Robinsons Place Antipolo on July 28-30!
Shoppers visiting these outlets can expect a fun time with activities like bicycle Buddy Race, the Pedestrian Rush race, and sampling booths available, along with great healthy lifestyle selections.
Shoppers making the trip to Robinsons Supermarket Summit Ridge and Antipolo will have the full access to the “Drive to Wellness” course. They will receive a travel cube passport that entitles them to freebies and exclusive services from wellness partners Nestle and Johnson and Johnson. Best of all, admission to the wellness caravan stop is free!
You can eat healthy and on a budget with Robinsons Supermarket’s produce and meat section. They carry such produce lines as Sweet Bee which are GAP approved.
Another offering is the salad bar where customers can make their own healthy and delicious salad sponsored by Glad.
Other Robinsons Supermarket branches also carry Wellness Festival rewards to make grocery shopping worthwhile. A P3000 minimum purchase, with at least P500 worth from participating brands like Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Unilab, Fonterra, Wyeth Nutrition, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, IPI, Abbott Nutrition, Getz Bros., Ecossential, Foodsphere, and Philusa will earn shoppers satisfying bites of the Healthy You snack platter. Added perks will also be given to Robinsons Rewards card holders who will get additional 15 points for every P500 Healthy You product purchase.
Ready your shopping bags because all traffic signs lead to Robinsons Supermarket Wellness Festival this July. Schedule a trip to the next caravan stop at Robinsons Place Antipolo from July 28-30.
The day included relaxation and body wellness at Nurture Wellness Village. I had been their previously and knew that already I would feel relaxed with the calming air and pleasant surroundings.
Before we focused on the healing of our body we nourished ourselves with a hefty meal. I have to say since I started moderating what I eat I’ve noticed a significant change in my appetite. Nowadays I don’t eat to feed my emotions but I eat to feed my body and only enough to give it the energy it needs.
After our yoga session, I’m more inspired to go back to doing it and getting more exercise. Hopefully my commitment gets stronger when all 3 of my kids are back in school and I have the time and space to do it!
