Mommy Bloggers Philippines Christmas Party 2015!

Another year has passed and now we’re onto 2016! Before I start with 2016 though, I’d like to share about our Mommy Bloggers Philippines “A Christmas to Remember” party that happened on December 5 at The Linden Suites.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at The Linden Suites and was thrilled that they agreed to partner with us for our annual Christmas party. The Linden Suites is conveniently located in Ortigas along San Miguel Avenue. It’s near major malls and is in the heart of the Ortigas business district. It perfectly caters to business travelers and families as well.

We had our event at the Sky Lounge located on their roof deck. The room had balconies (which we opted not to use since our party was mid-afternoon). During our ocular we could really see the possibilities of making it a festive party venue.

We partnered with Amari Events to make the venue a red and gold themed party. Our meeting was very easy going and having emailed back and forth our vision and requests, I was happy to find that they had an idea perfectly suited for our party.

We wanted it simple and cozy yet vibrant and classy. Check on all points! Thank you Rome DC!

Before starting with the program we had lunch courtesy of The Linden Suites in house restaurant, Mesclun. We were served our menu choice and the buffet was placed outside the Sky Lounge room (which we preferred).

Seafood in Coconut Sauce
Slow Roasted Rosemary Chicken
Beef Pot Roast

We wanted the mommies to have a remembrance from the event (aside from the many giveaways and raffle prizes!) so we coordinated with Casa Litrato to cover our party and take as many shots possible. I’m so in love with the photos. All the mommies had such beautiful shots and it was great to see them using it for their profile pictures on their social networks.

We had awesome raffle prizes, from appliances to gift certificates we procured with the help of one of our attending mommies, Lariza Garcia. Fuentes Manila and PRC were also generously supportive to provide more raffle prizes.

We had a special game for our Rebisco Vita Cubes giveaway as 20 mommies would be receiving Php500 GCs with their gift packs. It was a fun game that I would recommend for parties such as ours.

It’s called “A Christmas Gift Exchange Game”. I read a short story that consisted of the key words Right, Left and Across. Each time these words were said the mommies had to pass their gift packs to the direction mentioned. It turned into quite a work out for the moms!

It’s been such a blast working with these 2 super mommies! I love Lani of Tweenselmom and Joy of Joygurtiza to bits! We’ve only known each other for a couple of years but seems like we’ve been friends forever! I’m looking forward to an exciting and fun 2016 with them.
