One of my “problem areas” would have to be my feet. I don’t get to pamper them as much as I should. When I can I go to the spa for a pedicure and scrub to get some foot therapy. It seems to be a neglected part and lately I’ve been working on that by paying more attention to them.

I was lucky to receive Nature Essentials therapy socks and foot balm to try out. I was thrilled to hear that in just applying the foot balm and wearing the socks for 20 minutes each day that it will relieve my dry cracked heels, draw out impurities in my skin and even help release stress.  Well, there you go… ONE of my big secrets… I have cracked heels. I walk around my house barefoot so I’m sure that’s the main cause.nature essentials foot balm gel theraputic socks art of being a mom www.artofbeingamom.com 03

The therapy socks are a pretty pink which I love because it makes me feel feminine even for just a little while. Let me tell you, it’s hard to get that feminine feeling going when you’re working at home, taking care of kids and doing chores.

Inside the socks are a gel that further assists in the foot balm taking effect. You might be expecting a minty menthol feel but in fact you don’t and yet you’re feet are still refreshed after a session. What I also liked about it is that it doesn’t have a greasy feeling afterwards unlike some foot balms.

The foot balm is organic and doesn’t have any paraffin wax which is apparently very harmful to skin. Nature Essentials promotes products that are safe and chemical free.

So far I’ve been using it for a week. Indeed my feet do feel refreshed after applying the foot balm and wearing the therapy socks.
