One of the brands I was able to visit at Blogapalooza 2014 was Caronia Nail Polish. It’s only lately that I’ve been using nail polish and I hadn’t yet tried Caronia.

They were promoting their Blue Moon collection and I was lucky enough to get a pack which had 3 hues. The Blue Moon Collection is in collaboration with Ballet Philippines which was the inspiration for the new line.

Instantly, the colors assume a wispy, brave and radiant quality very reminiscent of the fine art of ballet.

Their booth also featured other Caronia products to clean and nourish your nails. I was intrigued with the nourishing cream because since I started using nail polish on my toes they’ve discolored and seem to be a little brittle.

I love to color them though so to solve that I take breaks in between and visit the spa to get them cleaned and give them some pampering. The nourishing cream though is something I can do at home and will give my nails the nourishing they need.

The 3 hues of the collection are Bourrée, a metallic brown shade; Avant, a frosted emerald green; and Chassé, a royal blue shade.

I like the Bourrée as I usually pick shades of browns and pinks. Kianna asked for Avant and I kept Chassé for when I’m feeling a little wild! Yes, I know it’s not really wild but it’s wild enough for me.

Wearing Bourrée, which I have to say was easy to apply. Just 2 quick coats and I was good to go. Upon doing some research, I learned that this is Caronia’s second Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP Free formulation. That means extra safety for my nails.
