I was ecstatic when I saw a perk for Gelatissimo. I hadn’t tried gelato yet and as a lover of ice cream I wanted to experience the unique gelato taste.
Munch Punch makes it easy for VIP members to claim their perks. After you have registered (for free) you can then upgrade to VIP membership (P299 for a 60-day membership). The first 15 days is free!
As a VIP member you can then browse through the perks they have. When you find one you like just click on Get Code and one will be sent to the phone you used when you registered an account. The best way to make sure that you don’t miss out on perks is to follow Munch Punch on Facebook.
My first perk from Munch Punch is the Gelato Plus One at Gelatissimo. Kianna and I headed over to their Trinoma branch to give it a try. It’s located at the 4th level rooftop dining area.
It was early in the afternoon but I found the place a bit dark. It’s quaint but has plenty of seating. There were quite a few people it being such a hot day out.
The perk specified that I could avail of a free Piccolo Gelato at Php120.00. That meant that I could get 2 Piccolo gelatos for the price of one!
There were so many yummy flavors to choose from. Just looking at it made me salivate. Check out their flavors here.
As we were trying to decide what 2 flavors to get the friendly staff asked if we wanted to taste a particular flavor we were eyeing. I thought that was great! At Php120.00 per Piccolo cup it was a bit on the expensive side and it’s nice that they let you try a flavor before deciding on one. They even have a box where they put the used spoons.
These are the sizes available at Gelatissimo. As you can see my perk was for the smallest cup they had. Surprisingly it still felt like a lot. I think it may have been the thickness of the gelato.
We finally decided on Tiramisu and Choco Chip. It didn’t disappoint! It was so delicious that I’m planning another trip just to try more flavors. Of course with my Munch Punch perk!

If you love watching movies and eating ice cream, TriNoma gives you the best of both worlds as movie tickets automatically come with a buy one-take one ( purchase 1 scoop, get 1 scoop for free!) coupon for Gelatissimo. One can be frugal and share the free scoop, but their gelato is so good I usually gobble both scoops in a jiffy. 🙂

I’m a VIP member din kaso di ko masyado mapakinabangan ang perks. Most of them are for restos in Manila kasi.
I tried the place once.. although I frequent to the area. hahaha
