The Baby Expo Philippines is another welcome event for both families and babies. This year the expo will be “Welcoming Life, Love and Care” through a wide variety of booths and activities and discussions on responsible parenting, family planning, health and wellness, proper dieting, allergy treatments and breastfeeding.
There are plenty of activities over the course of the 3 day event which include Yoga and Zumba classes, a yaya academy, fashion show, cupcake decorating showdown and a family olympics. There will also be parenting advice from celebrities such as Dawn Zulueta, Charlene Gonzales, and Carmina Villaroel.
I was honored to attend their launch and press conference at the Big Red Barn at Fun Ranch to learn more about the event and the benefits of attending the 3 day Baby Expo.
In tow were my 3 kids, and we had just come from the TMA Homeschool Orientation also at Fun Ranch on the second floor. I had brought them along as we had a full day of activities ahead.
They enjoyed the press conference and getting a taste of a blogger’s life. The event was kid friendly with a smorgasbord of colors, a play area, cute cupcakes and a yummy buffet.
The press conference was hosted by Ms. Nina Ricci Alagao-Flores (Bb Pilipinas Universe 2000). I was surprised to learn that she already had 3 children with such a svelte figure.
She was kind, sincere and accommodating. I have to admit I was among those who asked to have a picture taken with her.
After we had gotten home, my son realized that I had had my picture taken with her and he felt bad for missing out on such an opportunity.
The speakers at the press conference were made up of a well rounded group including (L-R) Dr. Regina Carmela Y. Santiago-Aquias, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant of The Medical City, Edric Mendoza (founder of HAPI & director of TMA and who also happened to be the speaker at the homeschool orientation that we had attended earlier that morning), David Abrenilla (CEO of Mediacom and organizer of the Baby Expo, Huiying Tan (director of Cordlife Philippines), and Maricel Cua, co-founder of MedelaMoms Philippines)

There’s a lot in store for us and I personally can’t wait to bring my kids especially my youngest son, Jael. I’m looking forward to a mommy makeover, watching the family olympics, discussions on various parenting topics and the booths! Don’t forget to block your calendars for this event and I hope to see you there!
