Wrapping presents can be fun and creative. You can come up with unique designs and personalize it to the recipient’s personality. It’s also a great craft activity that you can do with your children.

Usually inspiration sparks for me when I have everything in front of me and I just start creating with the materials that I have on hand. I collect scraps of wrapping paper, ribbons, cute cut outs, and other designs that I find interesting.

I buy the essentials such as different gift wrappers and card stock. From these I usually come up with something unique. If you’re pressed for time but want personalized gift wrapping here’s a quick and easy idea.

I bought colorful Christmas wrapping paper and decided to make an accent with my nephews’ initials. I had some felt letter cut outs and decided to work my design around that. As you see below I changed up the design with different colored background circles. I also interchanged the color bands.

You can also do it vice versa and use plain colored paper to wrap the gift and use wrapping paper for the bands. Kids will be sure to get a kick out of their initial before tearing those presents open.
